Kentucky-made spirits expands to seven new markets, as it will now be offered in Arkansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 22, 2015) — Louisville-based Copper & Kings American Brandy Co. is launching its American Brandy and Absinthe spirits in seven new states – adding Arkansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas for a total of 15 distribution markets. The modern distillery in the city’s Butchertown neighborhood began selling aged and immature brandy in June 2014 in their home state and has already doubled geographic availability in 2015.
“We will be expanding our partnership with Glazer’s Distributing to five additional states, and adding Atlantic Importing in Massachusetts and Advintage Distributing in South Carolina to our stable of very fine distributor partners,” said founder Joe Heron. “Our partners all share the same qualities – no B-S, great to work with, do what they say and say what they do. Most of all they are enthused and energized by their craft, and that includes being the purveyors of superb craft-distilled spirits.”

Copper & Kings American Brandy and Absinthe are distilled exclusively in copper pot-stills and are non-chill filtered with no post-distillation infusion of added sugar, boisé (powdered oak, shavings or infusion), other flavors, or colorants for an uncorrupted, authentic, natural flavor, nose and color. The state-of-the-art distillery has 1,800 gallons of distilling capacity and production capacity planned at 200,000 cases.
