More than 50 employers expected to attend Regional Career Fair in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 21, 2015) — The 2015 Regional Career Fair is coming to Lexington on Thursday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Kentucky Career Center – Bluegrass, in partnership with Bluegrass Community and Technical College and Commerce Lexington, is planning the event, which is being held in the Megowan Building on BCTC’s new Newtown Campus at 500 Newtown Pike in Lexington.

This event will connect those who are serious about employment with companies who are ready to hire hard-working, qualified individuals. With 754 attendees, 53 employers, and over 1,000 positions represented last year, the Kentucky Career Center – Bluegrass and its partners are looking to recreate that magic this year.

A few of the employers already slated to attend include:
ED Bullard
Ruskin
Link-Belt
Central Bank and Trust
Aramark
KentuckyOne Health
Penske Logistics
If you’re looking for employment in Central Kentucky, you will not want to miss this event.  There is no fee to attend, but it is requested that you register for employment through the state’s job search system at focuscareer.ky.gov or by visiting your local Kentucky Career Center any day prior to the event.  This will prevent delay of your entry to meet the employers on June 4th.

If you are a job seeker, and in need of assistance with your resume or interviewing skills, please contact your local Kentucky Career Center and set up a time to receive one-on-one assistance.  Learn more by visiting: ckycareers.com
