James Cooper has been with company 33 years
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 4, 2015) — Columbia Gas of Kentucky announced today that James Cooper has been promoted to operations center manager. Cooper will be responsible for managing field operations throughout Columbia’s 30-county service area in Kentucky and Ironton, Ohio.
Cooper began his career with Columbia Gas as a laborer in 1982 and worked in the field for 13 years before moving into leadership roles. Most recently, Cooper served as senior operations specialist where he trained, coached and developed leaders to ensure that work was carried out according to company standards and state regulations.
Cooper is a graduate of Bryan Station High School in Lexington and holds numerous professional certifications.
