Governor Beshear to speak at Kentucky Chamber Day tonight in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 5, 2012) – More than 1,000 of Kentucky’s business leaders will attend the 17th Annual Kentucky Chamber Day on Thursday evening. During the event, Governor Steve Beshear and the state’s top legislative leaders will share their visions for Kentucky’s economy, government and politics for the year ahead.

The event will be held at 7:15 p.m. in the Bluegrass Ballroom at the Lexington Convention Center.

Kentucky Chamber Day, presented by Fidelity Investments, will be held at the Lexington Convention Center in the Bluegrass Ballroom, and will begin with a reception at 5 p.m. The senate president, speaker of the house, senate minority leader, and house minority leader will also offer their thoughts on the 2012 General Assembly beginning at 7:15 tonight. It is estimated that Gov. Beshear will take the stage at 8:15 p.m.
