“Wade’s leadership in developing strong business development programs such as NKY Boost, our business retention and expansion (BR&E) program, and workforce development efforts have been instrumental to the success of the region’s strong manufacturing industry,” said Dan Tobergte, president & CEO of Northern Kentucky Tri-ED. “Wade helped launch the Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Federation of Advanced Manufacturing (NKY FAME) and was the key lead for 15 expansion projects and more than 1,400 jobs announced in 2014.”

Williams joined Northern Kentucky Tri-ED in 2011 as vice president of manufacturing projects/BR&E. In addition, Northern Kentucky Tri-ED worked with Boone County and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 to establish a traffic light at an intersection on KY 237 to ease congestion and allow trucks easy access onto I-275.

Prior to joining Northern Kentucky Tri-ED, Williams was director, business management, at Duke Energy. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in public administration from Northern Kentucky University. He was awarded the Next Generation Leadership Award for Business and Finance by LEGACY, a Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce program that fosters young leaders in the region.
