Lexington, Ky. – A new interactive map compiled by the University of Kentucky Alumni Association shows the number of UK alumni living in every county across the country.

According to the map, there are 200,284 UK alumni in the United States. The number of graduates is through July 2015.

Naturally, Fayette County, the home of UK, has the largest number of Big Blue graduates, at 39,431, and not surprisingly Jefferson County is second in Kentucky at 17,136.

Outside of Kentucky, Hamilton County in Ohio has the largest number of UK graduates, at 2,859. Cincinnati is in Hamilton County, and sits just across from the Ohio River from Northern Kentucky. Davidson County (Nashville, Tenn.) has 1,370 graduates, and Cook County (Chicago) has 1,327.

According to the map, Big Blue diaspora are far flung, with 123 graduates in Honolulu County, Hawaii, and 87 in Anchorage County, Alaska.

Per state, Ohio has the largest number of Wildcat expats, at 9,958, followed by Florida, at 7,527. North Dakota has the least amount of UK graduates, at 64 alumni in the state.
