EPA Acting Deputy Administrator to keynote energy conference in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 12, 2015) — Stanley Meiburg, Acting Deputy Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, will give the opening keynote at the two-day 5th Annual Kentucky Energy Management Conference, on Oct. 27 at the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington.

Meiburg’s keynote will:

  • Provide a progress report on the energy and environmental priorities of the Obama Administration and how that progress affects Kentucky.
  • Discuss the current goals and regulatory initiatives of the U.S. EPA and how they are likely to affect energy prices and availability in Kentucky.
  • Address current and potential future rulemaking efforts affecting energy and environmental policy.
