Gateway ranked 11th in nation for ‘Best for Vets: Career and Technical Colleges 2016’

FLORENCE, Ky. (Oct. 19, 2015) — Gateway Community and Technical College was ranked 11th in the nation by Military Times for “Best for Vets: Career and Technical Colleges 2016.” The ranking focuses on benefits coverage, support services and an in-depth analysis of a college’s efforts to provide veterans with an environment for success.

2016_BFV_CAREER_TECH_COLLEGESThis is the third consecutive year that Gateway has been listed as a ‘Best for Vets’ college and is the only Kentucky community college to make the list.

“Gateway VETS, Veterans Employment and Training Services, is thrilled to learn we have been recognized by the Military Times for the third year in a row,” said Daniel Ridley, career mapping specialist for Gateway VETS. “The ranking recognizes the support we give veterans and their families. We offer job placement services and career counseling as well as educational credentials that lead to a good job.”
