Leadership Louisville Center announces 2016 board of directors

Sandra Frazier has been named the 2016 board chair for the Leadership Louisville Center.

Louisville, Ky. – The Leadership Louisville Center has announced the organization’s newly elected officers and members of its board of directors. The 2016 Board Chair is Sandra Frazier, Chief Executive Officer/Managing Member, Tandem Public Relations.

Other elected officers are: Michael Moll, PNC Bank – Chair-Elect; Malcolm Berkley, UPS Airlines – Vice Chair; Jennifer Hughes, DMLO CPAs – Vice Chair; Kevin Wardell, Norton Cancer Institute – Secretary/Treasurer; Jeff Bringardner, Humana Inc. – Immediate Past Chair; and John Crockett, Frost Brown Todd LLC – Counsel.

Eight community leaders also joined the Board as Directors for a three-year term.  They are:  David Calzi, EY; Jennifer Hancock, Volunteers of America; Becky Phillips, MCM CPAs and Advisors; Dan Rivers, Northwestern Mutual; Ken Selvaggi, WAVE 3-TV; and Chris Whelan, LG&E and KU Energy LLC.  Also new on the board are ex-officio directors: David Haney as new president of Young Professionals Association of Louisville(YPAL) and Lisa Causarano as new president of the Junior League of Louisville.

Members returning to the Board of Directors include: Carolyn Callahan, University of Louisville; Marland Cole, Baptist Health; Scott Colosi, Texas Roadhouse; Condrad Daniels, Houston-Johnson, Inc.; Marjorie Farris, Stites & Harbison PLLC; David Hardy, CBRE Louisville; Kirsten Hawley, Brown-Forman Corporation; Wes Jackson, The Courier-Journal; Tom Quick, GE Appliances; Brian Reynolds, Archdiocese of Louisville; John D. Smith, Horseshoe Southern Indiana; Carolyn Tandy, Office of Congressman John Yarmuth; Michelle Wells, Yum! Brands, Inc.; and Mary Ellen Wiederwohl, Louisville Metro Government. Kent Oyler, President and CEO of Greater Louisville Inc., returns to the board as an ex-officio director.

About Sandra Frazier: 

As a graduate of the Leadership Louisville Class of 2005, Sandra Frazier is a longtime a supporter of the Leadership Louisville Center.  She joined the Board of Directors in July 2013 and will serve as Board Chair through June 2016.

Sandra Frazier established Tandem Public Relations in 2005, after several years with Doe Anderson. There, she managed public relations efforts for several high profile clients, including Louisville Slugger/Hillerich & Bradsby Co., Community Health Systems/CHS, and Fifth Third Bank. Before joining Doe Anderson, she worked for Boston-based State Street Corporation, one of the world’s largest financial service companies, where she worked on corporate communications, investor relations and international community reinvestment policy.

With a master of science in mass communication and public relations from Boston University’s College of Communication, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Hollins College, Sandra is an active volunteer of numerous community and civic causes, including the Hollins College Board of Trustees, The Louisville Zoo, the Kentucky Center Endowment Board, 21st Century Parks, and the Downtown Development Corporation.

She serves as a director of Brown-Forman Corporation and The Glenview Trust Company.
