Lt. Gov. Hampton names deputy chief of staff

Adrienne Southworth selected for position

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Dec. 18, 2015) — Lt. Gov. Jenean Hampton today announced the appointment of Adrienne Southworth as Deputy Chief of Staff.

“I’m thrilled to have Adrienne joining our team in this important role,” said Hampton. “Her experience with state policy will be a tremendous asset.”

Southworth has a broad spectrum of research and coordination skills, including eight years of state policy work with Take Back Kentucky. She is a graduate of Louisiana Baptist University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management. She has also been a private music teacher for the past 11 years.

“I look forward to helping our new administration be as effective as possible,” said Southworth. “This is the best opportunity we’ve had for positive change in my lifetime.”

Southworth and her husband live in Lawrenceburg.
