Food service moves to Equestrian Room until March 15
LEXINGTON, KY (Jan. 14, 2016) — Keeneland’s Track Kitchen, located in the stable area of the race track, is set to undergo renovation work to its kitchen. As a result, food service will move to the trackside Equestrian Room on the first floor Grandstand from Jan. 18 to March 15.
The Track Kitchen is a popular gathering spot throughout the year for horsemen, fans and visitors to Keeneland.
The Equestrian Room will be open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Breakfast is available from 7 to 10:30 a.m., with lunch served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests may use Keeneland’s South Gate entrance near the Gift Shop or East Gate entrance just off the Saddling Paddock.
The menu will continue to feature a variety of delicious options all reasonably priced. Breakfast offers such traditional staples as bacon/sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, grits and choice of cereals as well as breakfast burritos, biscuit sandwiches, scones and fresh fruit. Lunch choices include entrée specials, salads, soup, hamburgers and sandwiches.
