Two more quarterfinal games tonight at Rupp Arena
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 18, 2016) — Newport Central Catholic and Paul Laurence Dunbar/Bowling Green advanced today to the semifinals of the Whitaker Bank/KHSAA Sweet Sixteen Basketball Tournament at Rupp Arena.
Newport Central Catholic defeated Murray 75-54, while Dunbar beat Bowling Green 57-51. The two teams meet in the semifinals at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Two more quarterfinal games will be played tonight. At 6:30 Doss plays Taylor County and at 8 South Laurel and South Oldham meet. The winners play at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
The championship is at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
