Lexington City Barbeque helps raise funds for traumatic brain injury assistance

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 29, 2016) — March is National Brain Injury Awareness month. City Barbeque is wrapping up it’s campaign to help raise funds and awareness for this important issue.  Over the past three months City Barbeque has been selling special tumblers for $5 each with 100% of the sales going to the Resurrecting Lives Foundation, an organization devoted to helping Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injuries.

“We are so thankful that our guests chose to participate.  We were able to raise $12,500 for Resurrecting Lives Foundation.”, said Brian Hipsher, VP of Marketing for City Barbeque.

This is the second year City Barbeque has raised money for Resurrecting Lives.

Dr. Chrisanne Gordon, Founder of Resurrecting Lives Foundation said, “Many thanks to City Barbeque for engaging the entire community in this effort to support our Military Members, Veterans, and their families affected by Traumatic Brain Injury. Our heartfelt gratitude for providing funding and awareness which eases the transition process back home.”
