Lexington, Ky. (June 2, 2016) – ArtsPlace will once again host this year’s The National Arts Program® exhibition, which will open to the public on June 6 and remain on display through July 2. Participation in the exhibition is open to employees or volunteers of LFUCG or LexArts, or immediate family members of either organization. The exhibition is sponsored by the National Arts Program Foundation in support and cooperation with the City of Lexington and LexArts.

The National Arts Program® is designed to give all artists, at all skill levels, an uninhibited opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional manner and to compete for cash prizes. The exhibition is judged by professional artists and visual art professionals in Amateur, Intermediate, Professional and Youth classifications. Seventeen cash prizes total $2,600. Honorable mention ribbons may be awarded and all artists will receive an official Certificate of Participation in The National Arts Program®.
