Kentucky HEALTH is Gov. Bevin’s proposal to reform Kentucky’s Medicaid program

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 11, 2016) — The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky has scheduled a webinar from 3-4 p.m. on July 18 to provide information on Kentucky HEALTH, Gov. Matt Bevin’s proposal to reform Kentucky’s Medicaid program through a special waiver application to the federal government. The webinar is free and open to the public.

The foundation has contracted with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, to conduct the training during the public comment period on the Kentucky HEALTH proposal. Comments are due to the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services by 5 p.m. July 22.

This webinar is one in a series of “Health for a Change” trainings offered by the Foundation to inform health policy and expand the capacity of nonprofits to work on current health policy issues.
