Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence receives $50,000 grant for early childhood study

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 4, 2016) — The Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence has received a $50,000 grant from the Northern Kentucky Family of Funds of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation to finance the Early Childhood Provider Cost of Quality study in Kentucky.

The study will provide information to policymakers and legislators about targeted long-term investments and the importance of adequate fees and reimbursement rates to ensuring the high quality of early childhood programs.

The Northern Kentucky Fund is a permanent, charitable resource that brings together donors with the common goal of enhancing the quality of life in Northern Kentucky. Since its inception, the fund has invested in the health and vitality of communities in Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties.
