Scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 7, 2016) — The University of Kentucky football team will be featured on national television this week, with the UK/Florida game being featured as the SEC on CBS Game of the Week.
This week’s game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday in Gainesville, Fla. The SEC on CBS opened last week with Texas A&M defeating then nationally ranked UCLA.
UK (0-1) is coming off a 44-35 home loss to Southern Mississippi. Florida (1-0) beat the University of Massachusetts 24-7 last week at home. UK has lost 29 straight to Florida and has not won in The Swamp since 1979.
Last year Florida won 14-9 in Lexington.
