Multiple media outlets are reporting that Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin’s spokeswoman Jessica Ditto is leaving to take a position with the Donald Trump campaign.
Ditto is resigning to become deputy communications director for the Republican nominee for president, the reports say.
Ditto worked on Bevin’s 2015 gubernatorial campaign and was instrumental in a 9-point win that made him the third Kentucky Republican governor since World War II. She also worked for former Republican Gov. Ernie Fletcher and the Republican Party of Kentucky.
Ditto will work in New York with Jason Miller, Trump’s senior communications adviser. Miller was a consultant for Bevin’s 2015 campaign for governor.
