Consists of more than 900 exhibits
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 12, 2016) — The Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) will be held from Oct. 19-21 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. This industry-only event is estimated to bring an economic impact of more than $9.8 million to the region.
GIE+EXPO is the country’s largest showcase for outdoor power equipment, lawn and garden products and light construction equipment. The tradeshow features 900 exhibits in 580,000 square feet of the Kentucky Exposition Center, with a 20-acre outside area for test drives and demonstrations. The New Products Showcase spotlights 100 of the industry’s newest products, many of which will be unveiled during the show.
More than 18,000 manufacturers, retailers, distributors, contractors and landscape professionals attend the event, which experienced a record-breaking year in 2015. GIE+EXPO 2016 is expanding the number of booths, square footage and acreage, and organizers have reported pre-registration is running ahead of last year’s 11 percent increase.
