Gov. Bevin makes appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions

Three appointments named

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Oct. 14, 2016) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions.

• Mardi Montgomery has been appointed to the Southern Regional Education Board. Montgomery, of Somerset, is the Director of Policy and Legislation at the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet. Montgomery shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2020.
• Alesa G. Johnson has been appointed to the Southern Regional Education Board. Johnson, of Somerset, is the Associate Dean at Somerset Community and Technical College. Johnson shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2018.
• William Joseph Byrley has been appointed to the Personnel Board. Byrley, of Louisville, is a retired Human Resources Manager for UPS. Byrley shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2020.
