BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Dec. 1, 2016) — Dr. Scott Lyons has been named Dean of the Graduate School at Western Kentucky University, effective Jan. 1, 2017.
Lyons has been a faculty member in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport since 2004. He came to WKU after completing his doctorate in Human Performance/Exercise Physiology at the University of Alabama.
A recipient of the College of Health and Human Services Awards for Excellence in Advising and for Excellence in Research, Lyons has served as the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Health and Human Services and currently serves as the Director of the School of Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport. He has also participated in the Management Development Program at Harvard University.
