MURRAY, Ky. (Dec. 14, 2016) — Lindsey Garland has been named program coordinator at the Center for Telecommunications Systems Management at Murray State University.
She will be responsible for recruiting students, coordinating events, maintaining TSM social media accounts and administering marketing efforts. Also, she will be working closely with faculty and staff to improve outreach of the TSM program.
Garland worked for Do Good Media, a small marketing firm located in Live Oak, Fla., where she was responsible for event planning, social media management, graphic design and videography. Most recently, she held the position of advertising intern at The 300 Swim and Tennis Club in Gainesville, Fla. She supervised the pro shop, maintained inventory, coordinated events and managed advertising campaigns.
Garland graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. During her college career, Garland was actively involved in Ad Society, Ad Dash, Her Campus UFL, Youth Advocacy Partnership and Suwannee Coalition. She has held the titles of social media manager, video blogger, graphic designer and creative director.
