Ribbon cutting to kick off nonstop Allegiant flights from CVG to Puerto Rico

Flights from Dec. 17 to April 22, 2017

COVINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 15, 2016) — Allegiant on Saturday will kick off its nonstop season service from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Flights will operate once a week from Dec. 17 to April 22, 2017.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 8:10 a.m. on Saturday ahead of the 8:30 a.m. flight. Passengers will receive a small gift as they board the plane, and there will be pastries, Bustello coffee and other festivities at the gate.

Allegiant began service out of CVG in February 2014 and will now operate up to 52 flights a week to 15 different destinations. This is the fourth new destination this year for Allegiant. Earlier this year they started service to Baltimore and Destin/Ft. Walton Beach, and in November, they launched service to NYC via Newark.
