Kindred Healthcare forms partnership to open rehab hospital in New Jersey

Will include 38 beds

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 19, 2016) — Kindred Healthcare, Inc. and Morristown, N.J-based Atlantic Health System today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to create a joint venture to construct and operate a 38-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in northern New Jersey.

The new facility, which is expected to open by the fourth quarter of 2018, will offer all private rooms, supporting both enhanced clinical efficiency and elevated patient experience with targeted clinical programs including neurological, spine, trauma and complex conditions.
