Community Resource Fair set for Louisville’s Park Hill neighborhood

Includes employment opportunities and career preparation

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 5, 2017) — Bridges of Hope Neighborhood Place will host a Community Resource Fair for the Park Hill neighborhood from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The event, which will focus on residents who live in or near the Park Hill neighborhood—an area just west of Old Louisville which experienced a disproportionate number of violent deaths last year—is open to all members of the public.

The theme is “A Call to Peace.”

The following groups have been invited to participate: Louisville Metro Government (including Community Services, Parks and Recreation, and the Office for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods), REimage, UPS, YouthBuild Louisville, Exploited Children’s Help Organization (ECHO), Jefferson County Public Schools, KentuckianaWorks, Family Scholar House, Louisville Metro Housing Authority, Louisville Metro Healthy Start, Mindful Direction Counseling Services and several others.
