To increase barrel storage warehouse
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 23, 2017) —Buffalo Trace Distillery is considering a $25 million proposed expansion of its facility in Frankfort.
The project would involve an expansion of Buffalo Trace’s barrel storage warehouse to keep up with increased demand. Costs would include $20 million for building construction and $5 million for equipment.
The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved the company for tax incentives up to $250,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program.
