LEXINGTON (Feb. 28, 2017) — The preferred candidate for UK’s next vice president of institutional diversity, Sonja Feist-Price, will discuss her vision for the office and answer questions from the campus community at forums this week.

After a thorough review of several highly qualified candidates and substantial deliberation, a broad-based search committee and President Eli Capilouto agreed to present Feist-Price as the preferred candidate for vice president.

Feist-Price, a longtime faculty member in the College of Education, currently serves as senior assistant provost for faculty. She also previously served as UK’s academic ombud.

Two public forums have been scheduled for the campus community to discuss this important position with Feist-Price:

• Faculty/Staff Open Forum: 2-3 p.m. Thursday, March 2, Jacobs Science Building Room 321.
Student Open Forum: 5-6 p.m. Thursday, March 2, Jacobs Science Building Room 121.

You can review Feist-Price’s curriculum vitae here: www.uky.edu/president/sites/www.uky.edu.president/files/Vita_Feist-Price Administrative Vita_ JAN.2017.pdf.
