Will be used to identify organizations’ skills shortages in Ky.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 28, 2017) — The deadline to take Kentucky SHRM’s inaugural Bridging The Talent Gap Survey is March 6. The survey will be used to identify organizations’ skills shortages across the state. While unemployment may be improving, Kentucky is still experiencing a shortage of skilled talent.
The survey will be used to capture organization’s data to help state policymakers, educational institutions and training providers better understand the urgency of these needs and take action.
It generally takes 30 minutes to complete this survey. You must finish the survey to be considered a participant. Unfinished surveys can be saved to be completed later.
When completing the survey, answer the questions based on the skills issues in your local area only. For the purposes of this survey, think of the term “skills shortages” as any instance in which the knowledge, abilities or work place attitude of job applicants or employees is not consistent with the needs of their positions.
