HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (March 14, 2017) — Northern Kentucky University has named Gina Rittinger assistant vice president for marketing and communications, effective March 20.
Rittinger previously served as director of corporate communications and marketing at General Cable, where she led the development, implementation, execution, and ongoing refinement of branding, marketing, and corporate communication strategies and materials in partnership with the company’s executive leadership.
As assistant vice president, Rittinger will oversee the university’s marketing strategy; branding; licensing and merchandising; internal and external communication; web, digital, and social media; publications, graphic design, and specialty printing; and photography.
Prior to her tenure at General Cable, Rittinger was an account executive at RGI Design, Inc. She is a member of a number of professional organizations including the Corporate Communications Accelerator and the Association of Women in the Metal Industries.
Rittinger received her bachelor of arts in journalism from Northern Kentucky University.
