Gov. Bevin makes appointments to boards and commissions

Three appointments named

FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 31, 2017) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions.

Kentucky Airport Zoning Commission:

  • James Bradford Schwandt, of Louisville, is an aircraft maintenance manager. He will serve for a term expiring Aug. 8, 2018.

Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners:

  • Dr. Lee S. Peplinski, of Louisville, is an optometrist. He will serve for a term expiring Feb. 9, 2019.

Kentucky Equine Drug Research Council:

  • Dr. Marcus W. Cheney, of Lexington, is a veterinarian. Cheney will represent the Kentucky Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association. He will serve for a term expiring Aug. 1, 2020.
