Commonwealth’s Attorney appointed for 38th Judicial Circuit of Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 2, 2017) — Gov. Matt Bevin today appointed Blake Ross Chambers, of Morgantown, as Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 38th Judicial Circuit of Kentucky.

Chambers has been a prosecutor throughout the course of his legal career. He attended law school at the University of Louisville, graduating cum laude in 2009. Chambers was previously chief prosecutor for the Warren County Attorney’s office and Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 38th Judicial Circuit. Since January 2016, he has served as Assistant Butler County Attorney.

Chambers will serve until the position is filled in accordance with the results of the November 2018 midterm election, pursuant to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.
