Held similar role at Pikeville Medical Center
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (June 5, 2017) — Laura Damron has been named director of public affairs at the University of Pikeville.
Prior to joining UPIKE, Damron worked for Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) as the director of public relations. Her experience in healthcare marketing also includes serving as a physician recruiter for PMC, community liaison for Care America Home Health Care and pharmaceutical sales representative for GlaxoSmithKline.
She received her bachelor of business administration degree in marketing from the University of Kentucky. Damron is a member of the Pikeville Rotary Club. Damron and her husband, Patrick, reside in Pikeville with their four daughters.
