FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 8, 2018) – Gov. Matt Bevin appointed Adam R. O’Nan, of Sturgis, as County judge-executive of Union County.
O’Nan is a farmer and has owned the restaurant Doc and Betty’s Place since 2013.
“I am honored and humbled to receive this appointment from Gov. Bevin,” said O’Nan. “We continue to offer our condolences and prayers to the family and many friends of Judge-Executive Jody Jenkins. I am eager to work with the Union County Fiscal Court as we move forward for the great folks of Union County.”
O’Nan will serve until his position is filled in accordance with the results of the November 2018 midterm election, pursuant to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.
