Association seeks nominations for manufacturer, employee of the year

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 8, 2012) — The Kentucky Association of Manufacturers (KAM) is saluting manufacturers and those employed at manufacturing plants with its 2012 Manufacturer and Employee of the Year award, which it will present later this year at a ceremony in Louisville.

“Manufacturers work 24/7 creating and producing countless products that we, as consumers, use daily,” the association said in its press release. “ Day in and day out, more than 215,000 men and women employed by the 3,000 manufacturers in Kentucky work with pride to improve our quality of life.”
