Sullivan University names new VP of Human Resources

Melissa Lowe, VP Human Resources, Sullivan UniversityLOUISVILLE (Aug. 28, 2017) – Melissa Lowe, who over more than a decade built the Sullivan University System Human Resources Department into a tremendous asset for the entire system, has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources for the system.

“During her 11 years with the Sullivan University System, Melissa is credited with growing the System’s Human Resources Department from its infancy into a resource that serves all campuses and divisions of the SUS and its employees through benefits administration, employee engagement and recognition programs, compliance, policy development, and employee relations,” Sullivan University System President Glenn D. Sullivan said in announcing Lowe’s promotion.

Lowe previously served as the Director of Human Resources for the Sullivan University System. For the past two years, she has served on the Sullivan University System Executive Committee, working with other system leadership in the strategic oversight of the organization.

Lowe holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Leadership from Sullivan University. Lowe is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Senior Professional of Human Resource (SPHR), and SHRM Senior Human Resources Professional (SHRM-SCP).
