Governor makes appointment to Kentucky boards and commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (July 16, 2012) – Gov. Steve Beshear has made the following appointment to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Beshear appointed the following members to the Kentucky Board of Dentistry to serve for terms expiring June 30, 2016:

• James K. Hargan of Elizabethtown, an oral surgeon. He represents licensed dentists. The appointment replaces Susan M. King, whose term has expired.

• Stephanie M. Gudger of Versailles, who works at Hope Center Inc. She represents citizens at large. The appointment replaces Allan D. Francis, whose term has expired.

The governor appointed attorney Edward M. Bourne Jr. to the Governor’s Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee to serve for a term expiring April 14, 2018. The appointment replaces David P. Schoepf, whose term has expired.

Beshear reappointed Eugene Jeffrey Mosley to the Governor’s Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee to serve for a term expiring April 14, 2018. Mosley, of Louisville is an attorney at Mosley, Clare & Townes.

The governor appointed Charlene King as Magistrate for the Fifth District of Clinton County to serve according to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution. King, of Albany, is the owner of Wolf River Oil Company. The appointment replaces Charlotte Bernard, who has resigned.
