LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 28, 2018) – Hilliard Lyons Chairman and CEO Jim Allen was awarded the Fleur-de-Lis award Tuesday night by the Louisville Forum, a nonpartisan public issues group, at their annual meeting at U of L’s University Club.

The award recognizes local citizens who have made significant contributions to the Louisville community throughout their careers. Award recipients are chosen by the Louisville Forum Board of Directors.

“I’m deeply honored by this recognition,” said Allen. “We need more bridges over chasms in public discourse that lead to consensus to move everyone in our community forward together.”

Allen, who has been with Hilliard Lyons since 1981 and CEO since 2004, is board chairman of the Jefferson County Public Education Foundation and Chairman of Greater Louisville, Inc., Louisville’s Chamber of Commerce. In 2016, Allen chaired the Metro United Way Campaign for Greater Louisville.
