PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Chris Daniels has been promoted to vice president, communications system at Community Trust Bank, Mark A. Gooch, president and CEO, announced Friday.
Daniels has worked at Community Trust Bank for more than 17 years. He was second in command for data communications in the bank’s technology department for over 14 years prior to being promoted to the AVP of data communications in 2016.
His duties include managing all aspects of the bank’s telecommunications systems including IP voice infrastructure as well as all video security systems, security alarm systems, and physical networking infrastructure within the corporation. He is also responsible for developing plans for the future communications infrastructure of the corporation.
His office is located in the Community Trust Bank operations center in Pikeville, Ky.
Daniels graduated from Prestonsburg High School in Prestonsburg, Ky. He lives in Prestonsburg.
