LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kathleen Spears, CPA, joined Baldwin CPAs in February 2019. She will be part of Baldwin’s tax team and is based out of the Lexington office.
Spears is an accounting supervisor with Baldwin and is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. She has been actively involved in accounting and financial consulting for 20 years.
Spears has served as the CFO for the World Equestrian Games; CFO for renowned Thoroughbred Breeding Operations; CEO for the Performance Show Horses Association; and as an international financial consultant for non-profit equine foundations.
Spears lives in Lexington, Ky., with her husband Dick and her youngest son, Chance. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and exercising. She also has a passion for historical preservation. Spears is a member of the AICPA, Kentucky Society of CPAs, Keeneland Association, and USEF (United States Equestrian Foundation).
