JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Clark Memorial Health announced Friday that Dr. Saima Kahn is joining Clark general surgery.
Most recently, Kahn was on the medical staff at King’s Daughters Hospital in Madison, Ind., and was employed by Baptist Health Medical Group in La Grange, Ky. In addition, she served a one year term as chairperson of the Department of Surgery at Baptist Health. Kahn is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Kahn received her medical degree from The Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and in 2008 completed her residency in general surgery from Christiana Care Health Systems in Delaware, Md.
“I look forward to practicing along with the Clark general surgery providers in southern Indiana,” said Kahn.
“Dr. Kahn’s many years of experience in general surgery will make her an exceptional addition to the office of Clark General Surgery,” said Tiffany Sierota, Clark Medical Group CEO.
Kahn will provide a range of services for patients focusing on general surgery, breast surgery, cancer surgery, colon, hernia and gallbladder surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, endoscopic procedures, hemorrhoid procedures and wound care.
