ASHLAND, Ky. — Parents of students in Ashland Independent Schools have two options to choose from about how their children will learn in the fall.
Option 1: Traditional learner. With this selection, students would return to a traditional classroom setting for in-person instruction when classes resume on Aug. 26.
Option 2: Virtual learner. This option means the student would remain at home for online instruction.
Parents must submit their intention online or by mail by July 24.
If a parent later wants to switch options, a request must be made to the principal with one week’s notice.
The plan includes a long list of health safety precautions students will be required to take on buses and on campus.
