Appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Gov. Andy Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Appointed the Honorable Susanne Mowery Cetrulo to the office of Judge of the Court of Appeals for the 6th Appellate District, Division 2, of Kentucky.

Reappointed John Coleman, R. Roland Case, Stephanie Kinney, and Walter Greg Harvey as Administrative Law Judges in the Department of Workers’ Claims, effective Jan. 1, 2022.

  • John Coleman of Pikeville shall serve for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2025.
  • R. Roland Case of Pikeville shall serve for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2025.
  • Stephanie Kinney of Louisville shall serve for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2025.
  • Walter Greg Harvey of Bowling Green shall serve for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2025.

Appointed Kellie Ellis as a member of the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education.

  • Kellie Ellis of Richmond is a professor at Eastern Kentucky University. She replaces Robert Staat, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2025.

Appointed Cleo Battle as a member of the Kentucky State Fair Board.

  • Cleo Battle of Louisville is president and CEO of Louisville Tourism. He replaces Karen Williams, who has resigned and shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending May 10, 2022.

Appointed Dale Toney and Katelyn Wiard as members of the State Board of Medical Licensure.

  • Dale Toney of Lexington is a physician at the University of Kentucky. He replaces Sandra Shuffett, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring Aug. 31, 2025.
  • Katelyn Wiard of Lexington is an administrative manager at Frost Brown Todd. She replaces Philip Williamson, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring Aug. 31, 2025.

Appointed Anne Veno as a member of the Board of Nursing.

  • Anne Veno of Crestwood is Director of Patient Care Services at Norton Healthcare. She replaces Kristi Hilbert, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2025.

Appointed Meredith Figg as a member of the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy, effective Jan. 1, 2021. Gov. Beshear has also reappointed Peter Cohron, effective Jan. 1, 2021.

  • Meredith Figg of Beaver Dam is a pharmacist at Rice’s Pharmacy. She replaces Jill Rhodes of Crestwood, whose term is expiring, and shall serve for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2025.
  • Peter Cohron of Henderson is a pharmacist at T&T Drugs and shall serve for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2025.

Reappointed Andrea Brooks as a member of the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, effective Sept. 24, 2021.

  •  Andrea Brooks of Campton is a professor at Lindsey Wilson College and shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 23, 2021.

Appointed Whitney Allen as a member of the Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange Advisory Board.

  • Whitney Allen of London is a healthcare administrator at UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Kentucky and shall serve for a term expiring June 3, 2023.

Reappointed Shlomo Litvin, Lisa Anne Chaney and James Glenn as members of the Commission on Human Rights.

  • Rabbi Shlomo Litvin of Lexington is Director of Chabad of the Bluegrass and shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 12, 2024.
  • Lisa Anne Chaney of Willisburg is president of Impetus Consulting, Inc. and shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 12, 2024.
  • Jim Glenn of Owensboro is a retired educator and shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 12, 2024.

Reappointed Melanie Eaton and Mary Christina Murray as members of the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Long-Term Care Administrators.

  • Melanie Eaton of Adairville is an instructor at Western Kentucky University and shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 12, 2025.
  • Mother Mary Christina Murray is a registered nurse and shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 12, 2025.

Appointed Jessica Greene as a member of the State Advisory Council for Gifted and Talented Education. Gov. Beshear has also reappointed Lindsay Oliver and Shaundeidra Bradford.

  • Jessica Greene of Lexington is an administrative dean at Fayette County Schools and shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2023.
  • Lindsay Oliver of Lancaster is a teacher at Garrard County Schools and shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2024.
  • Shaundeidra Bradford of Louisville is a teacher at Jefferson County Public Schools and shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2024.

Appointed Tammie Sherry as a member of the Reading Diagnostic and Intervention Grant Steering Committee.

  • Tammie Sherry of Newport is an associate professor of literacy at Northern Kentucky University and shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 15, 2023.

Reappointed Rina Gratz as a member of the Early Childhood Advisory Council.

  • Rina Gratz of Louisville is the Executive Director of Early Childhood at Jefferson County Public Schools and shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2025.

Appointed Matthew Bailey and Sean Mestan as members of the Kentucky Heritage Council. Gov. Beshear has also reappointed Linda Carroll and Helen Dedman.

  • Matthew Bailey of Guthrie is the director of Hermitage Farm. He replaces Judi Patton, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring Aug. 6, 2025.
  • Sean Mestan of Princeton is self-employed. He replaces Paul Tenkotte, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring Aug. 6, 2025.
  • Linda Carroll of Lexington is vice president of Morgan Worldwide Consultants and shall serve for a term expiring Aug. 6, 2025.
  • Helen Dedman of Harrodsburg is the owner of the Beaumont Inn and shall serve for a term expiring Aug. 6, 2025.

Appointed Margaret Young Levi as a member of the State Board for the Certification of Librarians.

  • Margaret Young Levi of Danville is an attorney at Wyatt Tarrant & Combs LLP. She replaces Barbara Hill, whose term has expired, and shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2025.

Appointed James Kay, David Jackson and Case Davis as members of the Kentucky River Authority, effective Sept. 19, 2021.

  • James Kay Sr. of Versailles is a farmer. He replaces Thomas Stephens, whose term is expiring, and shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 18, 2025.
  • David Jackson of Frankfort is retired. He replaces Jonathan Lang, whose term is expiring, and shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 18, 2025.
  • Case Davis of Lexington is a civil engineer at Beaver Creek Hydrology LLC. He replaces David Farrar, whose term is expiring, and shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 18, 2025.

Reappointed Brian Wright of Owensboro as a member of Water Transportation Advisory Board, effective Oct. 1, 2021.

  • Brian Wright of Owensboro is the president and CEO of the Owensboro Riverport Authority and shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 30, 2025.
