Bourbon Recipe: Kentucky Plum

Here is another holiday cocktail that can be shared at Christmas or New Year’s Eve. The champagne gives the cocktail a celebration feel, while the bourbon brings it back home to Kentucky.

INGREDIENTS:  

• 1 whole plum
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 1/4 cup bourbon
• 1/2 cup of champagne
• Mint
• Slice of lemon

METHOD:

1. Remove plum pit and muddle in with brown sugar.
2. Add bourbon and ice into a cocktail shaker.
3. Strain into a glass over ice and top with champagne.
4. Garnish with mint and lemon.
