Bluegrass Care Navigators named Stephanie Greene as the Chief Operating Officer of Clinical Services.
In her role, Greene will oversee the operations of all clinical service lines within the organization, including hospice care, palliative care, home primary care, integrative medicine, behavioral medicine, clinical pharmacy, and clinical integration.
Stephanie joined Bluegrass Care Navigators in 2017 as the Vice President and Chief Hospice Officer. Her background began as a Radiologic Technologist after graduating from Lexington Community College. From there, she developed extensive experience in leading operations and sales strategies for multiple outpatient clinics at Saint Joseph Health System.
After 15 years of hospital leadership, she transitioned to post-acute leadership and served as the Executive Director of Operations and Sales for one of the largest home health agencies in the nation. There, she was responsible for oversight of all clinical operations for six regional offices, covering 16 Kentucky counties, as well as developing and implementing growth strategies and initiatives for the region. This post-acute experience led her back to her non-profit roots and resulted in her joining Bluegrass Care Navigators.
In her COO role, Greene is the successor for Cassie Mitchell, who recently became Chief Executive Officer of HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Greene is a native of Winchester, Kentucky and is a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School. She earned her BS in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis, as well as a Masters in Health Administration from Bellevue University.
Bluegrass Care Navigators provides hospice care in 32 counties across central, eastern and northern Kentucky. In addition, the agency supports those facing serious illness or chronic disease with private duty nursing, home primary care, transitional care, adult day health care, and palliative care services.
