LOUISVILLE, Ky. — On October 25, 1923, the iconic Brown Hotel opened its doors for the first time in the heart of downtown Louisville. For its upcoming centennial, the award-winning hotel will host a Roaring Twenties-themed gala Wednesday, October 25, to recognize a century of exceptional hospitality and service.

To commemorate a century in business, The Brown Hotel is welcoming guests to adorn their best Roaring Twenties-inspired attire for a celebratory evening of dining, dancing, prizes and more in the hotel’s stunningly opulent crystal ballroom. The anniversary event will feature a night of entertainment including era-themed music performed by a four-piece band; mini hot brown bites and a special anniversary welcome cocktail; commemorative speeches with a Korbel sponsored toast; a four-course seated dinner featuring a customized, chef-curated menu, wine and dessert table; a hotel history photo presentation; an anniversary-themed photography backdrop; and more.
To express gratitude for 100 years of loyal guests near and far, the hotel Located at the corner of Fourth and Broadway will launch a social media giveaway campaign at the end of September through early October to offer a series of prizes, including an-house dining package, one night stay in the hotel’s coveted Ali Suite, and more. The anniversary gala will be held from 6 to 10 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. This will be a ticketed event open to the public and reservations will be required.
