For November General Election
FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 18, 2015) — Individuals seeking to run as independent, political organization or political group candidates for offices on the ballot in the November General Election must file their Statement-of-Candidacy forms no later than 4 p.m. on April 1. There is no fee to file a Statement of Candidacy.
The requirement applies to candidates running for:
- Governor/Lieutenant Governor
- Secretary of State
- Attorney General
- Auditor of Public Accounts
- Commissioner of Agriculture
- Treasurer
