Awarded to two businesses for renovations
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 28, 2015) — Two Louisville businesses were approved for loans in the amount of $72,703.00 by the Louisville Metropolitan Business Development Corporation. The loans will leverage a total investment of $1.7 million to assist two companies to renovate properties and prepare them for productive commercial reuse.
Loans awarded:
- $50,000 façade loan to 3325 Bardstown Road, LLC, located at 3325 Bardstown Road. The loan will allow owner Greg Anastas to renovate the storefront, add new glass, painting and other necessary improvements. An expansion of 6,250-s.f. will be added onto the building. Anastas will occupy half of the space with his Beverage Warehouse business and plans to rent out two spaces in the building.
- $22,703 façade loan to Wade and James Mattingly, located at 625 West Magnolia. The loan will allow the owners to renovate the currently vacant property. The renovated owner occupied space will house a brewery/tap room.
