Small Business Development Center seminar will focus on doing business with government agencies

Scheduled for June 16 in Pikeville

MOREHEAD, Ky. (June 9, 2015) — Morehead State University’s East Kentucky Small Business Development Center will present “How to Do Business with the Government,” on June 16, from 1-3 p.m. at Big Sandy Technical and Community College in Pikeville.

SBDC-logo-web-3-15(1)Participants will learn the basics about government contracting from a presentation by Dee Dee Harburt, Kentucky Procurement Technical Assistant Center program director.

This session is designed for businesses that have been in business for two or more years; have past performance in the commercial market; have financial resources to support government contracts, have the desire to sell to the government, have access to the internet and have an email address.

The workshop is free for all participants; however, seating is limited and advance registration is required.
