Registration open for Governor’s Conference on Energy and the Environment


Scheduled for Sept. 8-9 in Lexington

confFrankfort, Ky. (July 13, 2015) — Registration is open for the annual Governor’s Conference on Energy and the Environment. The event will be held Sept. 8-9 at the Lexington Convention Center.

Business and industry representatives, government officials, university representatives and others will discuss a number of topics, including the Environmental Protection Agency’s rule on greenhouse gas emissions; progress on Kentucky’s energy plan and a discussion about the state’s energy future; university research; the changing business models of utility companies; business sustainability; and a conversation with staff from the Energy and Environment Cabinet.
