God’s Pantry Food Bank in Lexington names interim CEO

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 10, 2016) — Ame Sweetall has been appointed interim CEO of God’s Pantry Food Bank in Lexington. Sweetall will take over for Marian Guinn, who will leave later this month.

Sweetall has served as a member of the GPFB Marketing & Communications Committee for 5 years.

Sweetall is the co-owner of APS Communications, an integrated marketing and consulting firm. She brings a combination of marketing, public relations and fund raising solutions experience to the Food Bank.

From 1994 to 2004, she served as the executive director in the Office of Fund Development for the University of Kentucky Hospital, UK Children’s Hospital, Department of Pediatrics and Children’s Miracle Network where responsibilities included planning, organizing and management of all corporate, foundation, event and individual fundraising and strategy.  She spearheaded the capital gifts campaign to build the first phase of the new Children’s Hospital at UK.
